Casting for union & nonunion principal actors (ages 9-12) for new limited education series for Public Access under SAG-Aftra Micro-budget Agreement.
Actors will receive a $100 stipend for the project. This is an excellent opportunity for upcoming actors to gain experience and build their resumes as principal actors. The series features youth as show hosts AND crew, so all actors will also learn how to operate camera, sound and lighting equipment and learn the basics of editing.
Rehearsals will be Tuesday & Thursday evenings November 30-December 16 and photography on December 4, 5, & 18 in Albuquerque, NM.
Series Synopsis:
We all know it’s true—kids are the smartest humans on the planet—and more entertaining, too!! This wacky new educational series is hosted by 9 ultra-sharp, talented, and hilarious kids who come together to explore interesting topics and careers through jokes, games, hobbies, and interviews—oh…and of course, classic SLIME challenges (because what education show would be complete without someone getting SLIMED in the end???)
