This is the kids' edition of our incredible Acting for the Camera Series!
Kids' Acting for the Camera I is a 6 week primer course designed for working young actors. It lays the foundation for theory, process, and professionalism to prepare actors for working on set. This class is a prerequisite to Acting for the Cameara II and Katharsis Media’s Actor’s Clubs.
Since young actors are expected to be just as professional, just as well-trained, and just as prepared as adult actors, this class covers the same material as the Acting for the Camera adult class does--just in kid friendly terms and with a few games along the way!
Acting for the Camera I covers:
- The Neu Method for Script Analysis
- The Vocal Qualities of the Actor
- Overview of Ivanna Chubbuck Method
- Overview of Stella Adler Method
- Background Acting information and resources
- Audition Techniques & how to self tape
- Actor's Access Setup & slate shot
- Professionally recorded monologue for your reel
